The most valuable footage is the footage nobody watches. Our founding bet, in plain terms.
When we started PixelCam, we kept running into the same uncomfortable fact: organizations had already spent billions on cameras, and almost none of that footage was ever watched in time to matter. It was all reviewed after the fact, if at all.
The gap we couldn't unsee
The hardware wasn't the problem. The cameras were fine. What was missing was something that could watch every feed at once, understand what it saw, and act in the moment. Humans can't scale to that. Software can.
Bring your own cameras
So we made a deliberate choice: instead of selling more hardware, we'd make the hardware you already own smarter. No rip-and-replace, no vendor lock-in — just intelligence layered onto the cameras that are already watching.
The best camera for the job is almost always the one you've already installed. It just needs to understand what it's looking at.
That's still the bet today. Give ordinary cameras the ability to see, reason, and act, and you turn a sunk cost into an always-on team — one that protects your people and your operation around the clock.
